Synopsis

“Thandel” (2025) is a Telugu-language romantic action drama directed by Chandoo Mondeti. It features Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi in lead roles. The film is inspired by a real-life incident from 2018, in which a fisherman from Srikakulam inadvertently crossed into Pakistani waters and was captured.

The narrative centers on Raju, a dedicated fisherman deeply in love with Satya. Despite Satya’s pleas for him to seek safer employment, Raju continues his sea voyages, leading to his unintended capture by Pakistani forces.
