Synopsis

“Flame: An Untold Love Story” is a Hindi drama film released on December 25, 2014, directed by Rajiv S. Ruia and Sumana Mukherjee. The story centers on Mahua, a sweet and innocent tribal woman portrayed by Hrishitaa Bhatt, who endures daily humiliation and abuse from her husband, Ojha, an exorcist. Despite the societal and ritualistic barriers confining her, Mahua’s journey leads her to discover true love, which empowers her to transform from a meek individual into a confident woman. This newfound strength enables her to stand up for her beliefs, love, and humanity, challenging the oppressive norms that once bound her.
